SKY RIVER ROCK FESTIVAL 51ST ANNIVERSARY

  

Celebrate with us! It's the 51st anniversary of the Sky River Rock Festival. The Woodstock one year before Woodstock! This year is also Woodstock & Seattle Pop Festival's 50th anniversary. Like-minded people unite! The Spirit of 1968 in a Modern Setting - We are excited to be hosting this festival in Snohomish, WA.
 

Bands - There will be a variety of PNW talent. All eras represented to entertain throughout the day on two stages. Local and internationally vetted lineup featuring: ROCKFISH AND FRIENDS A (10-piece high energy band that plays "Classic Rock That Kicks Brass"!!! Rockfish And Friends is fronted by KZOK radio personality Rob "Rockfish" Oxford and is backed by nine of the Northwest's most talented musicians, many of whom who have shared the stage with such artists as Styx, Eddie Money, Melissa Etheridge and the Justin Timberlake Horns. R.A.F features live horns and percussion and plays the top hits of Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, Steely Dan, Tower of Power, Wings, Ide's of March, The Boss and much more!!!), BLUES FEEDBACK (originally at Sky 68), Normal Bean & the Love Family, STRUM (a founding member of the 1968 SRRF's son Steve Noe is in this band), High Friday, Volkert Volkersz, ROCK CANDI, Phoenix Arising,  BLUE VELVET GROOVE, Out of the Ashes, FONZARELLI! More to announce as we progress. Feel free to bring your acoustic instruments to jam with others while you picnic on the grass. Lineup subject to change. This is an outdoor rain or shine event with no refunds available.

 Reunion Pavilion - A featured 1968 Reunion Pavilion will be hosted by one of the original attendees of SRRF 68 Greg Garton, now sharing his interviewing skills as our Historian/Archivist cataloguing images, stories, and memories from other attendees and musicians/bands who were there in the beginning!  He is going to be featuring images never seen before from our local photographer Tore Ofteness and so much more.
 

Chainsaw Artists - We will host our local and international chainsaw artists, including, Debbie Tremko, Doane Hopkins They will be demonstrating their skills and will have their amazing art to sell!
 

Beer Garden & Food Vendors - There will be a Beer/Wine garden provide by a local nonprofit group Fisherman's Village. A local Vendors Market is hosted by Karen Erickson. Food, artists, crafters, shopping, and dining! Fun things to do for young and old, from henna tattooing to art projects.

 Location – Willis Tucker Park, 6705 Puget Park Drive, Snohomish 98296. A modern space with a covered Amphitheatre, covered beer/wine garden with seating, 80 beautiful acres, 10 acre off leash Dog Park, great parking, ADA parking/sidewalks, walking paths, and a very cool water SPRAY park with covered shade seating. All of this, and still close to amenities. Low shade tents are allowed. Bring sunscreen/blankets/chairs etc. This is a very family friendly event. Plan on spending the day!

Road to Woodstock 50th Anniversary Tour will be stopping to celebrate with us at Sky River Rock Festival!  Aug 3rd!!!  Part of our music family that helped make Sky happen last year with their generous running of the second stage and Normal as our MC for the day....along with performing!!!   Everyone danced and had a wonderful time, can't wait to see what magic they bring this year!!!  More to announce,  they have some heavy hitters joining the band on this tour!!!!


"We are not the official Woodstock concert, we are a tour of alumni traveling to the original site of Woodstock and performing for the hippie Thanksgiving and other various events. We are about sharing the spirit of Woodstock!  With everyone!! Our mission is about Peace and continues on after Woodstock celebration!  Through the entire year."

A modern setting with a covered Amphitheatre, covered beer/wine garden with seating, 80 beautiful acres, 10 acre off leash Dog Park, great parking, ADA parking/sidewalks, walking paths, and a very cool water park with covered shade seating.  All of this and still close to amenities.
